Support the Gardens
The Riverside International Friendship Gardens are free and open to everyone, every day of the year. That’s possible because of a unique public-private partnership and the generosity of people like you. The City of La Crosse provides the land, but the flowers, tools, supplies, and loving care that make each garden bloom depend on volunteers and donors. When you give your time or your support, you’re helping keep this place of beauty and international friendship thriving for the whole community.
Volunteer With Us
Our gardens are beautiful because of the dedication of our volunteers, and we’d love to have you join us. No experience is needed, just a willingness to dig in alongside fellow community members. It’s a rewarding way to spend a morning outdoors, meet new friends, and watch the Gardens flourish because of your own hands.
Volunteers are welcome May through September, on Wednesdays from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.

Your gift, in any amount, directly supports the Gardens. Donations help us pay for flowers, tools, and maintenance supplies, the everyday essentials that keep the gardens vibrant through the seasons.
